4 Ice-Based Cosplays For The Winter

These Four Cold Cosplays Are Perfect For The Weather Outside

It’s cold outside. I live in Florida, and though most people wouldn’t consider the temperature that bad here, it still feels cold to me. And it got me thinking about characters that have snow/ice powers, or even just have that as a theme. It’s visually distinct, certainly. Which dovetails quite nicely into cosplay. So, if you’re looking for some inspiration—or just a list of cosplay options—let’s take a look at four icy characters.

Elsa

Let’s get the most obvious out of the way—and I don’t mean that as a negative. Cosplaying Elsa means that you get to wear a really pretty dress, wave your hands around, and delight Disney fans. Elsa also offers lots of group cosplay ideas with the sheer number of related characters.

Mr. Freeze

This one is a challenge. The suit and helmet have had a lot of different looks over the years, but they are all complicated to different degrees. Personally, I love the Batman: The Animated Series look just because of how distinct the glass helmet is.

Frozone

I wish we got more of Frozone in The Incredibles. His powers have cool limitations—but are also really effective when he does have the water to use. Also, you know exactly what line you’d get to reference if you did this cosplay.

Jack Frost

There are a lot of versions of Jack Frost out there, but I am specifically referring to the Guardiansversion of the character. I love character designs that use staff—and Jack Frost has such a cool staff. This one is also a good option for group cosplays.

And those are four cold, frigid, freezing, icy cosplays for you to consider. Just make sure that you, yourself, stay nice and warm while you’re crafting your next amazing cosplay.
