The Zombies Have Taken Over The Cosplays!

There Is An Easy Way To Add Spookiness To Your Next Cosplay

Somehow, something hadn’t occurred to me, perhaps ever, until I saw the recent—and pretty good—Marvel Zombies series on Disney+. But it opens so many avenues for cosplay. It gives someone a template.

I’m sure you already know where this is going. If you don’t want to dress up as the normal version of a character, but also don’t want to crossover two different characters, then just make one into a zombie. Or a vampire. Or a robot version. And on, and on.

Halloween has given us the gift of attributes. Any common horror monster from trick-or-treating’s history can be mixed with any character. Marvel Zombies already gives us an amazing undead Wanda, monster Thor, rotting Captain America, and so many more. Now imagine Deadpool’s robot double. Imagine if the Hulk were somehow also a vampire.

Honestly, the more I talk about this, the more fun it seems. I have to imagine there are various cons this month of October where you can find a bunch of mashups. And if you have spookiness in your heart—and a love of cosplay—you could join them.
