5 More Awesome Planeswalker Cosplays

Here’s Further Magic: The Gathering Planeswalkers To Cosplay

I said I’d do more of these lists—and I meant it. Here are five more Planeswalkers from Magic: The Gathering that would be cool to cosplay.

Now, this list isn’t in any particular order—and I don’t know the whole backstory for each character. There’s just too much history for that. But they all have interesting visual designs and are a solid challenge for anyone building a cosplay.

Saheeli

Saheeli is a great cosplay choice, with her stylistic metallic flourish, bracers, and long, colorful dress. And once you’ve made the actual outfit, you can go further. You can make Servos to go along with your cosplay.

Sorin

So, this is basically a vampire cosplay—but what’s wrong with a vampire cosplay? Sorin has a lot of layers to his outfits and wears a lot of very regal clothing. If you wanted a challenge, he’s a villainous planeswalker perfect for the job.

Jaya

In my last article on Magic, I talked about how Jace’s hood is a big reason to wear that cosplay—and with Jaya, we have another excellent hood. Her whole outfit looks fantastic, with both metal and—seemingly—leather armor. She’s also got an awesome staff.

Niko

I love the layers to Niko’s outfit. They have this classic red and blue design but done in a dynamic way. The sleeves are especially interesting, with how they have gaps in them, but also chord-like sections. The metallic “arrows” all over that same outfit only add to the design.

Vivien

Vivien has a lot of cool outfits, but I love this noir, detective look. The belt buckles, the popped collar, the metal bands on her sleeves. I love New Capenna’s art styles so much. Also, if you really want to go all out with this specific cosplay, try making that satchel Vivien’s carrying as a fun prop.

And those were five more planeswalker cosplays. Next time we do a list for Magic: The Gathering, we’ll be branching out. We’ll take a look at five legendary creatures—no Planeswalkers—that could be very fun cosplays for someone to try to create. Until then, keep on traveling through the multiverse.
